Description:

Adults and children who receive a monthly DSHS Medical ID card are eligible to receive transportation assistance (including gas vouchers, ferry tickets, bus passes, and/or rides) for scheduled medical appointments that are covered by Medicaid. Bus and ferry ticket requests and any other transportation services to appointments outside Jefferson County must be called in at least 5 business days before an appointment. Within the county, call at least 2 business days, but no more than 2 weeks, in advance. 800.756.5438 or TTY 800.756.5438.
